Beatrice Harrison wrote her autobiography shortly before her death in 1965. She gives vivid glimpses of the musical life of her time, and her adventures on tours of the early years of the twentieth century. These memoirs are a wonderfully entertaining period piece, every page expressing the characteristic high spirits of one of the best-loved British instrumentalists of the twentieth century.
